Surgery

    I go in for my second surgery on March 21st. I'm pretty confident about it but I'm just as anxious. I have heard that my doctor is VERY good at what she does so i shouldn't be worried about that but I'm not anxious about that. I think what I'm most worried about is the recovery, after my first surgery I learned that recovery is a pretty slow and hard process for me. The surgery itself also wigs me out; they will be moving muscles around and putting pins in my toes and stiffening my ankle. Just thinking about all that makes me uneasy. Aside from all that though, I know it is going to be worth it and will help me a lot in the long run.  The process will be long but i have some pretty awesome friends and family that i know i can count on to get me through it and make it fun. On March 16th I go in to talk about the surgery, make sure everything is in place and everyone know what's going on and etc..  My mom and i have started prepping for it by getting activities and fun things for me to do while I'm bed bound.

   Now for the pupper update. They are still on the search for the right one but I'm still so excited and in aw that it's actually happening. They looked at a husky but he ending up not being right for the task i need either, now on the search for a lab, or poodle, or a mix of the two. I'm just happy to get any dog! A couple weeks ago i was in Walmart and saw a man with his service dog who was a beautiful German Shepard. I got to talking to him a little and he told me he has been with his partner for about 9 years and some helpful tips. He left by saying "good luck with your partner" and those simple words made such an impact on me. Like i said, I'm still so shocked and grateful this is finally happening. I've waited so long and this has been a dream of mine for such a long time and it is finally coming true!
