Follow Up Appointment!!

Hey guys! Might as well jump right into it, I went back to Shriners today for my follow up the appointment and to know what is next for me. I got x-rays done and it shows everything healing very nicely which is music to my ears! She told me that I should still be wearing my brace about every day BUT I can take it off to do some activities like swimming, riding a bike and just lounging around, which is pretty good. I also got the go ahead to start physical therapy again which I am excited for. Nothing is more rewarding than putting the effort in with an incredible support system like Shriners and seeing a massive difference when you look back. People have already been telling me that they can see a difference with my balance and with walking. I like to give myself a pat on the back sometimes for choosing to go down the road I did. I was nervous and very hesitant at first but it is definitely paying off and this is only the beginning! Imagine how happy that makes me feel!

More good news is I will be putting another payment down for my service dog! Like I have been telling you guys they have had their eye on a special dog for me for quite some time and they think he will be a perfect fit! If for some strange reason he turns out not to be (which I will be very sad about because he is a cutie) they do have another option for me! I'm extremely excited and beyond grateful for the help of this amazing organization, Heroes Horses and Hounds! They truely care about the people they are helping and are making a huge difference.
