Fingers Crossed!

Hello everyone! It's been a little while since I've last updated you guys. Not much has been going on, I'm still recovering and going hard at physical therapy slowly getting muscle back in my foot! Although I have been having a hard time motivating myself, I know this is something that needs to get pushed and I need to do every day. I am still working on planning some more fundraisers so I will keep you guys posted on that as well. I did hear so upsetting news the other day. The dog that Heroes Horses and Hounds has been training for me (whose name is Orion, pictured below) seems to be having a hard time. They found out that he isn't as strong along his spine or hips as they'd like. But after a consultation with a canine physical therapist, they are going to continue his evaluation for another month. They believe he is deficient in amino acids, causing his tendons and ligaments to be weak but with the help of supplements, nutrition, and an exercise plan he could build the strength he needs! Although this is upsetting news and it has taken a toll on me the woman has explained to me that mobility dogs have higher standards and more demands so more of them flush out of the program which is understandable. Fingers crossed that Orion will pass his next evaluation. In the meantime keep sending all your positive thoughts!

Talk to you all soon!
Keep spreading the love
